this 1934 remake of fighting caravans(1931) is by far superior in every way. basically the same story of a wagon train heading to oregon in the 1850s. it has plenty of action to satisfy anyone who craves it. the sound recording was excellent. the acting of the principal players was the best of paramounts long string of zane grey westerns, and the finale with a tremendous musical score to back it up was outstanding. with stock footage from the earlier film, this 54 minute gem flies by. try it i think you will agree.yours at the movies joe rinando. p.s it is available on vhs from amazon.com
