Unusual low-budget feature from Poverty Row studio Majestic Pictures, starring Larry "Buster" Crabbe, Isabel Jewel, Sally Blane and Regis Toomey. Crabbe plays Bill Cutler, a roadside restaurant owner who befriends down-on-her-luck Jewel. Crabbe's society girlfriend, Blane, gets jealous and her brother, Toomey, who has taken up with Jewel, gets killed. Crabbe is suspected of murder. Quickly made film boasts a nice chemistry between Crabbe and Jewel. Crabbe does a swimming scene with Blane (real life sister of Loretta Young). Starts off with touches of light comedy then switches to drama. Not a classic, but still an interesting B-effort.
