The first season of "Nashville" comes to a close on Wednesday (May 22) with "I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive." With Brad Paisley appearing as a guest star, Jolene's funeral and the Cma awards, it's going to be a busy episode.
Despite the big excitement of country music's biggest night -- the Country Music Awards -- not everything is happy on "Nashville." Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) finds a letter from her mother that sheds some light on the previous episode's murder-suicide. Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) start out having a great time at the awards, but they may not get a happy ending anyway. Meanwhile, Gunnar (Jonathan Jackson) tries to win back Scarlett (Clare Bowen), and the U.S. Attorney's office comes after Teddy (Eric Close).
Need to see any of this for yourself? Here are photos from the "Nashville" finale.

The Kingslayer stuck his neck out for Brienne, and things didn’t end well.
Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) remained in captivity on the April 14 episode of Game of Thrones, and it was nice to see that even under such harsh conditions, the two were able to keep their sexual tension alive. But when night fell, things got much darker for the duo — and Jaime’s life was changed forever.
Their captors from House Bolton attempted to rape Brienne, and even though Jaime originally told her she’d be wise not to resist it, he ended up saving her life. He told the men that Brienne’s father would pay good money to see her returned unharmed — and, more importantly, undefiled.
But just when Jaime thought he’d saved the day, his captors turned their frustrations on him… and they chopped off his hand!

I've mentioned before how several years ago I created a list using Roger Ebert's Great Movies, Oscar Best Picture winners, IMDb's Top 250, etc. and began going through them doing my best to see as many of the films on these lists that I had not seen as I possibly could to up my film I.Q. Well, someone has gone through the exhaustive effort to take all of the films Roger Ebert wrote about in his three "Great Movies" books, all of which are compiled on his website and added them to a Letterbxd list and I've added that list below. I'm not positive every movie on his list is here, but by my count there are 363 different titles listed (more if you count the trilogies, the Up docs and Decalogue) and of those 363, I have personally seen 229 and have added an * next to those I've seen. Clearly I have some work to do, »

Trouble in Paradise? Sutton tells HollywoodLife.com to expect a season finale that will leave viewers asking, ‘Now what?’
Showgirl-turned-widow-turned-mentor Michelle (Sutton Foster) has faced her fair share of trials on the first season of ABC Family’s Bunheads — from a disapproving mother-in-law to a disagreeable pantsuit — but she tells HollywoodLife.com to brace for Michelle’s biggest trial yet on the Feb. 25 season finale: an uncertain future! “What I find interesting about the finale is that it opens a whole new door,” Sutton tells us. “A whole new avenue is being opened up, so we’re sort of leaving viewers thinking, ‘Now what?’”
Sutton promises a cliffhanger of sorts, though she wants to make one thing very clear: “It’s not like someone’s actually dangling over a cliff.” (Thanks for clearing that up!)
“On the finale,” she explains, “Michelle goes on an open call for a Broadway musical. »
