Storyline

Flip's piano instructor sits him down at the keys and leaves the room. In her absence, Flip plays jazzy music that brings some of the objects in the room to life. Later, Flip's friends call for him and he sneaks away from his lesson to go swimming. The piano teacher and her dog go after Flip, as does a police-officer who seeks to punish the boys for swimming on private property. Written by Melissa

In which installment we learn that Flip is not precisely the shiniest pebble in his pond.
26 November 2003 | by See all my reviews

Flip takes piano lessons from a character at times his wife, his landlady and various other roles in other Iwerks shorts in the Flip series and others. Flip's efforts to evade his lessons take up much of the short. His hare-brained schemes prove he's not a very high watt bulb, but his teacher isn't Mensa material either. Run-of-the-mill Flip short, but not too bad. Just not very memorable. Still worth seeing once. Recommended for Flip fans.
