When the story begins, Bosko and his dog, Bruno, are cavorting about on the frozen lake. Their fun is cut short when Bruno discovers a basket...and an abandoned baby inside. Being that Bosko is a nice cartoon character, he takes the baby home to care for it. Unfortunately, the baby screams and screams and screams. Only when Bosco and Bruno dance does the little monster stop screaming.
While I hated all the dancing (something common in Bosko films), the cartoon itself is relatively harmless fun. Nothing hilarious, mind you, though none of these early Looney Tunes cartoons were big on laughs. And, fortunately, there could have been more dancing, more cute characters and more singing....like you'll see in most of the rest of the Bosko cartoons.
