The name Connie Simpson doesn’t ring any instant bells — yet — but the woman who bears it is a lot more high-profile than her demeanor would let on.

Known as “Nanny Connie” to her clients, the 30-plus-year childcare veteran from Mobile, Alabama, has worked with celebrity parents like John Krasinksi, Emily BluntJustin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.

“’s life greatest equalizer,” Biel, 35, says in a video for Simpson’s new Jbtp (“Just Be The Parent”) media campaign. “Doesn’t matter where you’re from, how much you make, what you do … you are grounded to every other parent on this planet. »

Variety more 'sequels we don't need!' news. Boss Baby is getting one for 2021. Sigh. I actually thought that movie was unexpectedly good but most movies don't actually need sequels. Stop trying to make movies into big TV shows with multiple episodes! TV is great but Movies are not TV!

Marvel's Defenders: Is Claire Temple the White Tiger?

James Hunt Jul 27, 2017

Here's the case for Claire Temple playing the White Tiger in the Marvel Netflix universe...

Warning: contains spoilers for all Marvel Netflix shows to date.

The reception to Marvel’s Netflix shows has varied considerably from series to series - but something almost everyone agrees on is that Rosario Dawson’s character, Claire Temple, has been a highlight of them all. Like a Netflix Agent Coulson, it seems clear she’ll serve as the character who ultimately unites the team during the crossover series, The Defenders.

But it's possible her role is destined to be even more substantial than that. The ending of Iron Fist in particular hints that Claire may take the step Coulson never did and join the ranks of the (occasionally) costumed adventurers. We can't help but wonder: is she »

Marvel's Iron Fist episode 5 viewing notes: Under Leaf Pluck Lotus

James Hunt Mar 22, 2017

Iron Fist is currently veering between being a soap opera boardroom drama and a generic Netflix Marvel action series...

These viewing notes contain spoilers.

Iron Fist, the fourth and final member of the Defenders, has finally made his debut. As with previous Netflix series, we’ll be reviewing an episode a day highlighting the characters, reference points and easter eggs we spotted. Feel free to read along as you watch too, but please don’t spoil future episodes for anyone in the comments!

Ouch. Just when I thought Iron Fist had turned a corner, the cold open - sexy women pitching synthetic heroin to potential buyers - bordered on cringeworthy. After that things got a little better, but the show is veering »

Iron Fist: Slow News Day Means Periodic Updates As I Binge! (All Episodes Are In)

18 March 2017 1:28 AM, PDT | | See recent LRM Online news »

Iron Fist has finally been released, and if I can get away with it today I will attempt to give Spoiler-free'ish updates throughout the day! I have been waiting for this for awhile, and while we have seen nothing but negative reviews, it is up to us, the readers, for the final decision!

Episode 01 + 02

The first episode has a very "Bruce Wayne returns" type of feel to it, as Danny Rand shows back up after being missing and presumed dead for most of his life, after training in a mystical place that "can't be reached from here." The Meachums kids have taken over the company after their father's death from cancer, but it should actually be Danny's company. Rand does not seem to want money, just some answers. He attempts to go to a Dojo to train, which doesn't work as planned. At the end we get a surprise as someone is still alive. »

Claire Temple Lends A Helping Hand (Again) In New Iron Fist Clip; Finn Jones Teases A “Bigger Threat” Ahead Of The Defenders

16 March 2017 8:02 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Spare a thought for Claire Temple. Ever since Daredevil made a beeline for Netflix two whole years ago, Rosario Dawson’s kind-hearted nurse has patched up the Man Without Fear and Mike Colter’s Hero for Hire, not to mention giving some much-needed advice to the prickly Jessica Jones.

But on March 17th, the final Defender, Iron Fist, will call upon Claire Temple for medical aid, and a new clip from IGN sheds light on the first encounter between Temple and Danny Rand’s hero-in-training. Is Marvel’s steadfast supporting player slowly beginning to complete her transition to Night Nurse? It’s the one rumor that continues to do the rounds online, but until we hear official confirmation one way or another, you can get a better sense of Claire and Danny’s dynamic up above.

Looking further afield, Entertainment Tonight recently quizzed Finn Jones about the threats facing Iron Fist »

Jason Bateman is coming off his starring turn in the holiday laugh-fest Christmas Office Party. And he's wasting no time jumping right into another high-concept comedy with Game Night. The movie will team him with Rachel McAdams.

The story revolves around a group of couples whose regularly planned game night goes murderously off the rails. Jason Bateman is officially signed to take the lead, with McAdams currently said to be in negotiations. The screenplay arrives from the power duo of Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley. They will be directing the movie as well.

Jason Bateman will produce Game Night through his Aggregate Films banner alongside partner James Garavente. John Davis and John Fox are producing the movie for Davis Entertainment. It is stated by The Hollywood Reporter that while Bateman only recently signed on, Aggregate has been attached to the project from the get-go, agreeing to produce since the pitch was made. »
