The prominently displayed book which Doree inscribes to Bob is Dashiell Hammett's "The Maltese Falcon", the film version of which Warner Bros. would release the following month, also starring Bebe Daniels.
Stars Bebe Daniels and Ben Lyon were married in 1930 and remained so until her death in 1971. This was their second of six films together.
The film is preserved in The Library of Congress collection.
The golf course Daniels and Lyon play at appears to be the same one Warners used for its concurrent series of shorts starring famed golfer Bobby Jones.
