Another reason to hate France
13 September 2015 | by (Thailand) – See all my reviews

This movie has a HORRIBLE message for children. It says that if you are a lying, conniving, manipulative, treacherous person, you will have money, power, and people will obey you. What kind of sick and perverted person would make such a movie? A French person, of course. Everything those people touch turns into feces, so this film shouldn't surprise me.

As the movie neared its ending, I thought to myself that Hitler probably loved this thing. I could picture him and Eva watching this, eating popcorn, and giggling uncontrollably. Then I read today where the Germans actually released this movie first in 1937 with a German soundtrack because the French were too incompetent to figure out how to do it. This supports my theory about Hitler loving this movie.
