This is a part-talkie and one of the few MGM films to be among the lost. There is an unconfirmed rumor that it exists on laserdisc at UCLA. There are seven sound reels extant (#3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11), preserved from the vitaphone discs that accompanied the film. It was nominated for an Oscar for Screenplay.
