Sex & Nudity

  • Stan and Ollie are given 2 apples to throw over the wall and signal an inmate's pals to help them escape. They're caught by the warden and Ollie has to give up his apple. Stan hides his in his mouth, only he can't get it out. He starts to panic and become distressed but after stepping on the warden's foot, he kicks him in the rear making him swallow the apple whole, thus solving the problem.

Violence & Gore

  • Ollie gives Stan a shovel, saying "you can't do any harm with that." Stan then accidentally beans Ollie in the head with the shovel handle.
  • Stan and Ollie are made to dig a ditch with the other prisoners. Stan repeatedly gets his pickax stuck in Ollie's jacket, and at one point, brings the sharp edge right into Ollie's rear.
