American oil and mining concerns in Central America hire Barry Blake ( John Boles ), an American aviator, to protect their interests against the raids of the bandit leader Carta ( Richard Alexander ). Blake's plane crashes in the jungle and, accompanied by García ( Alexander Gill ) one of Carta's spies, Blake takes refuge in a cafe, where he falls in love with Norma Stewart ( Olive Borden ), an American dancer lured there by false promises. Carta's men arrive at the cafe, and, with Norma's help, Blake sends for the government soldiers and helps them to subdue Carta. Blake and Norma become engaged.
This 1928 silent action/drama was produced by Columbia Pictures and starred Olive Borden and John Boles. The survival status of Virgin Lips is listed as a lost silent film.
