When Red Walden ( Harold Grange ) loses out in the annual town motor race, Aunt Hattie Wayne ( Trixie Friganza ) and her niece Sally ( Jobyna Ralston ) advise him to pay more attention to his garage. Six months later, as he is preparing for marriage to Sally, she breaks a mirror and fears that bad luck will follow. Then Red, driving Aunt Hattie down a country road, crashes into a tree and is sent walking for help; a wild chase follows when Red is given a ride by Sally's maid. Asserting himself, Red prepares to enter the motor sweepstakes against Rube Oldham ( Ben Hendricks Jr. ), a champion driver. Red arouses Sally's jealousy by flirting with Lorraine Blair, the leading lady of a motion picture company, but he wins Sally back when he wins the race.
This 1927 silent comedy/romance was produced by the Robertson-Cole Pictures Corporation and starred Harold 'Red' Grange and Jobyna Ralston. The status of this film is now listed as unknown, sadly suggesting it may be a lost silent.
