Absolutely delightful - clever as a whip and very witty
This is a delightful change of pace from the ponderous costume dramas of Lubitsch's early career, at which he was lousy, I might add. He found his niche in comedy and this gem is a prime example. It's like eating a marvelous dessert full of surprising bon bons of flavor. The cast is uniformly wonderful and the comic action moves at a quick pace. The titles are some of the funniest and wittiest ever written. Don't miss this one. A sheer joy.
