He does not dare to declare himself but she tries to convince his "uncle". La Bricole, however, has set his eyes on the girl and demands to marry her. It's too much for Father Jean who decides to confess everything. But, surprise, Harry Barclay reappears! It's the secretary who tells everything. He is the son of Harry Barclay whom he found dead on his return from Africa. He wanted to commit suicide but, saved by sailors, he had remained ill for a long time. One day, he had read an ad for a secretary in his house. Being curious, he had applied for the job and he found the true love.
