David Morgan ( George Fisher ) marries Lucille Spencer ( Helen Lynch ), a poor girl, and is disinherited by his wealthy father, James Morgan ( Herschel Mayall ), who is carrying on an affair with actress Alma Lathrop ( Margaret Livingston ). David becomes tired of domestic life and succumbs to Alma's fascinations. Ignorant of her relationship to his father, David meets him aboard the yacht that he (James) gave Alma. A quarrel ensues, and David leaves. James Morgan is killed, and David is suspected; but it develops that Alma is guilty. David and Lucille are reconciled.
This 1925 silent romance/drama was produced by Sun Motion Pictures, starring George Fisher, Helen Lynch, Herschel Mayall and Margaret Livingston. As with many silent films, the survival status of After Marriage is listed as unknown, sadly suggesting it may now be lost.
