Lost Pola Negri Film ?
9 May 2016 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Cleo ( Pola Negri ), a waitress in a Marseilles waterfront cafe, is lured to Paris by a baron ( Edgar Norton ) who betrays her. Disillusioned, she resolves to use men as stepping stones to a life of luxury. After becoming a stage favourite on the boulevards and satiated with an easy life, she meets Georges Kleber ( Robert Frazer ), a poor youth whose honest love restores her faith in men.

This 1924 silent drama was directed by Dimitri Buchowetzki, produced by Adolph Zukor and Jesse L. Lasky, distributed by Paramount Pictures, starring Pola Negri in her fifth American silent feature. Sadly, Men now remains a lost silent film.
