The manager of a sheep ranch, Ned Bannister ( Jack Hoxie ), is falsely accused of the murder of David Messiter ( William Welsh ), a neighboring cattle rancher. Bannister's employer, Jack Halloway ( Claude Payton ), would like to own the cattle rancher's spread. When Helen Messiter ( Lillian Rich ), niece of the deceased, arrives to investigate the murder, Halloway, the real culprit, tries to seduce her. Bannister saves Helen, and he marries her after his innocence is established.
This 1924 silent western was produced by the Universal Pictures Corporation, with filming on locations in Alabama Hills, Lone Pine, California. Starring popular silent western actor Jack Hoxie, sadly The Man from Wyoming may now be a lost silent.
