Good character acting, attractive leads but a tired story
23 June 2001 | by (New York) – See all my reviews

Robert Agnew falls in love with Peggy Shaw, so he tries to rescue the city orphanage she is collecting money for by getting the horse Gold Heels into a high stakes race.

Some nice location shooting and well acted. Lucien Littlefield is notable as Robert Agnew's crooked racetrack pal. Has a few slapstick style comedy scenes.
