Fizzling

Well-paced story of a fireworks salesman in an unstable South American country is amusing without being a very good comedy. The lead role is played in the typical go-getter mode established by Douglas Fairbanks Sr., but lacks the talents and star power of Mr. Fairbanks in, say, THE AMERICANO or goofy singlemindedness of Harold Lloyd in WHY WORRY.
