Little Italy (1921) - Lost Silent Film
25 March 2016 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Rosa Mascani ( Alice Brady )disobeys her father's ( George Fawcett ) command that she marry Ricci ( Luis Alberni ), and she is banished from home. Later she makes a vow to marry the first man she meets, who happens to be Antonio Tumullo ( Norman Kerry ), a truck farmer, leader of a family with whom the Mascanis have a deadly feud. Antonio's attempts to win the love of his wife are in vain, and she goes to live with her cousin in the Bronx, where her child is born. In an hour of distress when the baby is ill, Rosa realizes her love for Antonio and, seeking his forgiveness, returns to him.

This 1921 silent drama was produced by the Realart Pictures Corporation, starring Alice Brady and Norman Kerry. Sadly, Little Italy now remains a lost silent film.
