In a 1971 interview, leading lady Irene Rich recalled that Will Rogers inadvertently created a problem during the making of this film. He showed up on the set one day fresh from a barber shop, with a haircut that was shorter than usual. "They had to paste on part of a wig on the back of his head," she explained, so his appearance in the film would be consistent. "Everybody was just so upset." See more »
