Empty Arms (1920) -- Lost Drama ?
21 July 2015 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Because her mother died in childbirth, Diane Summers ( Gail Kane ) fears motherhood. She agrees to marry her sweetheart Bruce Gordon ( Thurston Hall ) with the stipulation that their marriage never be consummated. Dissatisfied with the arrangement, however, Diane's husband leaves her. Alone, she becomes envious of the pleasure that other women derive from their children and soon has a change of heart. On a journey to visit her husband, Diane's train is derailed, and she is rescued by Philip Darnton ( J. Herbert Frank ). Bruce reads of the wreck and finds Diane in time to rescue her from Darnton's advances. Reunited, Diane and Bruce embark upon a new life together, which will include a family.

This 1920 silent drama was a Park-Whiteside Productions, starring stage and silent film actress Gail Kane. It's status is now listed as unknown, which sadly suggests it may now be a lost silent film.
