Norma Talmadge as a woman with a secret and a blackmailer to prove it., 11 July 2001

Norma Talmadge in her 28th feature plays a woman, raised by her grandfather, who learns her mother owns a gambling den. She tries to keep the information from her intended but a blackmailer enters the scene just to complicate matters. The tangled webs we weave...... This is Ms. Talmadge's third outing to a script by Anita Loos and her first film to be longer than six reels. A copy of the film in 35 mm is housed at the Library of Congress. Thanks to Greta de Groat for the above information gleaned from her website devoted to Ms. Talmadge.
