Trivia

Some prints of this film with latter-day title cards re-name several of the characters, calling the King "Louis XIVIIX&", misspelling the name of 'Snub' Pollard's character ("Requefort") and calling the bodyguard/tutor "Count Nichola Throwe" (i.e. Nickel-a-Throw). Prints featuring the original title cards do not use these names. The original name of the King, Razzamatazz, is confirmed in an insert shot of a telegram that appears in all prints.
