Steele forces Brieson into a precarious financial situation, the latter embezzles money to cover his losses. Steele threatens blackmail, unless Brieson's daughter Janice ( Carmel Myers ) agrees to become his wife. The marriage is not a happy one, until Steele becomes jealous of another man's attentions to Janice. Steele realizes he loves her, but she has returned to her father. Steele follows and narrowly rescues her when her yacht explodes. When he is pulling Janice from the water, she tells him, "I knew you would come, for I called you."

Produced by the Universal Film Manufacturing Company, this drama starring the beautiful silent screen actress Carmel Myers, sadly is now considered a lost film.
