Monroe Salisbury portrays Dago Sam, an outlaw who is torn between remaining loyal to his friend or satisfying his own desires. He rescues his friend's sweetheart, Hilda, ( Ruth Clifford ), from his fellow outlaws who are about to gamble for her. He then has second thoughts about Hilda, whom he now feels lust for, but she saves her honor by affirming her confidence in the outlaw's higher principals. Convinced by her pleas, he returns Hilda unharmed to his friend whom she loves.
This 1918 silent western/drama was produced by Bluebird Photoplays, Incorporated and distributed through The Universal Film Manufacturing Company. Starring Monroe Salisbury and Ruth Clifford, this film sadly now remains a lost silent.
