Actor Montague Booth ( Harry Mestayer ) is disfigured in an accident and loses the admiration of both the public and his leading lady, Belle Hathaway ( Belle Bennett ). On the verge of suicide, he is saved by the adoring Jenny ( Pauline Starke ), a maid in Miss Miggs' ( Ruth Handforth ) theatrical boardinghouse, where Booth has been staying. The two join the travelling medicine show of Booth's old friend Oldson and then take up a homestead claim. When Belle learns of Montague's financial success, she attempts to steal his money and cast the blame on Jenny, but he uncovers the scheme and is reunited with his faithful Jenny.
Sadly this 1918 silent drama produced by the Triangle Film Corporation, starring actress Pauline Starke, may now be a lost silent film.
