The 24 Year Old Oliver Hardy
28 November 2001 | by (London, England) – See all my reviews

In the year that Charles Chaplin signed up with Mutual Films to write, direct, produce and act in his own two reelers, Babe Hardy was earning his living acting in one reelers. He would have to wait until 1927 when he teamed up with Stan Laurel in the silent classic short film, 'You're Darn Tootin', before he would receive the same level of fame as Chaplin.
