Jabbs is serious about business, but Pokes just wants to flirt with the stenographer. While Pokes is preoccupied, crooks break in and steal the safe with a large sum of money, entrusted by an important client.
In the year that Charles Chaplin signed up with Mutual Films to write, direct, produce and act in his own two reelers, Babe Hardy was earning his living acting in one reelers such as 'Frenzied Finance'. He would have to wait until 1927 when he teamed up with Stan Laurel in the silent classic short film, 'You're Darn Tootin', before he would receive the same level of fame as Chaplin.
