DeMille and Comedy
Single-Black-Male28 November 2003
I can't imagine DeMille trying to make a comedy film, especially a silent comedy film. He was such a serious person as a director that it is unconvincing that he would possess humour in him. However, his middle class audience wanted humour, and as he was an astute producer, he gave it to them in this film.
