Storyline

Sweedie decides to commit suicide when she is jilted by her sweetheart, the captain of the police department. After writing a note to him, she calmly makes ready for the end. About this time the tricksters arrive and inject "dope" into her which puts her to sleep. They then erect a tombstone beside her. Upon awakening, Sweedie is unable to determine whether she is alive or a ghost. She goes home, but is unable to make herself seen or heard. The family is overcome with grief. She is then certain that she is a ghost. Her note is delivered to the captain, and he goes to the grave followed by his recruits. Here Sweedie determines to make sure whether she is dead or alive, so "sails in" and all but annihilates the entire department. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis
