Warning: Spoilers
John De Forrest ( Al Ernest Garcia ) sneakily lures wealthy men to his fashionable gambling house with an alluring but heartless blonde named Lil ( Lillian Worth ). Upon losing his fortune there, Jack Bryce leaves his fiancée Phyllis ( Phyllis Grey ) and goes West. After De Forrest tells Phyllis that Jack eloped with Lil, whom he pays to leave, Phyllis succumbs to his advances and marries him. Lil becomes a singer in a gambling den in the mining town where Jack lives, and after De Forrest refuses to send more money, she informs the police, who raid his joint. Phyllis escapes to the same town as Jack and Lil and finds work where Lil sings. When Jack discovers Phyllis, he shows her a newspaper notice of De Forrest's death. They marry, but after their child is born, De Forrest arrives and attempts to have Lil, now a charity worker, help him blackmail Phyllis and Jack. Lil refuses, and when De Forrest accidentally kills himself during their subsequent struggle, she feels she has atoned for her earlier wicked ways.

Produced by the Deer Film Company, this early western drama is now considered lost.
