Note Minta Durfee as the jealous husband's wife - she was Fatty Arbuckle's real-life wife at the time. They married in 1908 and divorced in 1925.
The event this picture was filmed at was the Panama-California Exposition held from 1 January 1915 to 1 January 1917 to celebrate the opening of the Panama Canal and to promote San Diego as a port of call for ships passing westward through the canal. The expo was held at Balboa Park in San Diego, California.
At about 11:55- 12:15, there is a Charlie Chaplin impersonator featured among the crowd. Mabel Normand used to be featured with Charlie Chaplin before teaming up with Fatty Arbuckle.
The motorized wicker chair Fatty and Mabel ride in was called an electriquette.
