Marguerite becomes weary as the hours and the Overland Limited roll on. Her trip from New York to the far west was a tedious one, and it is with a sigh of relief that she steps from the observation platform to pluck some flowers. The train had stopped for water. Marguerite wanders into the woods and when she returns, discovers that the train had pulled off. She is alone in a new country, without friends or funds. That evening she wanders into a deserted cabin and throws herself on a cot for a rest. In the meantime, her father has discovered her absence, gets off the train at the next station and, with the aid of the sheriff and his posse, they form a searching party. Broncho Billy and his pal, Lee, return to the cabin, and it is with difficulty that the former prevents the sleeping girl from being disturbed. Her father later finds her, thanks Broncho Billy for the protection and kindness extended to his daughter and continues on his journey, taking Marguerite with him. In the many ...
