The Short Story and Short Films
19 September 2003 | by (London, England) – See all my reviews

Serialization novels have an episodic quality that works well in these silent short subjects. For me, I didn't enjoy Edgar Allan Poe's writings, nor have I enjoyed watching any of his adaptations. I think for short silent films, comedy works better, especially if it is Chaplin or Harold Lloyd.
