The 38 Year Old D.W. Griffith
7 March 2002 | by (London, England) – See all my reviews

Although the storyline is not engaging for the modern viewer, the technical aspects of the film and the cast (Lionel Barrymore) drawn upon are significant. Even before Cecil B. DeMille came on the scene, D.W. Griffith was advancing technically and artistically in Hollywood with 'Three Friends'.
