Oliver Hardy's Debut Film
30 October 2001 | by (London, England) – See all my reviews

In the same year that Charlie Chaplin made his screen debut in 'Making A Living' with the Keystone Film Company, and Cecil B. DeMille made the first Hollywood feature film, 'The Squaw Man', Oliver Hardy made his screen debut in 'Outwitting Dad'. Unfortunately, he would have to wait until he teamed up with Stan Laurel in the 1920's before he would shoot to fame as a duo in 'Your Darn Tooting'.
