A farce in which a tramp, more cleverly than convincingly, manages to feast unmolested at the table set for a party. The garret door has an outside catch and serves as a trap for most of the family. The picture was to us, for the most part, dull, but we heard a good deal of laughter from the audience. The script was written by L. Reidel and produced by Van Dyke Brooke. William Shea makes a first rate tramp. The photography is clear enough. - The Moving Picture World, June 7, 1913
