The Duke, knowing that his daughter Flamette is in love with Raoul, a young man of noble birth who is nonetheless impoverished, hatches a plan. The Duke will falsely accuse the lad of a treasonous plot; and Raoul will then be slain by the Duke's soldiers. Flamette, learning of her father's plan, sets out to save her lover. She drugs Raoul and disguising herself as a young man, she takes his place. Recovering from the drug, Raoul realizing the situation, sends a message to the Duke telling him to call off the soldiers and then rushes off to save his beloved. Flamette is barely saved from death. When the Duke realizes the strength of the young people's love he grants Raoul and Flamette his blessing. Written by Geezer Noir
