D.W. Griffith and Mack Sennett
13 March 2002 | by (London, England) – See all my reviews

Although quite a dull film, D.W. Griffith was honing his art in 'A Trap for Santa Claus' before he became the godfather of cinema. His collaboration with Mack Sennett was the link between him and Charles Chaplin.

Whether you like 'The Birth of a Nation' or not, D.W. Griffith definitely deserves a place in Hollywood history.
