D.W. Griffith and Parallel Action
19 November 2003 | by (London, England) – See all my reviews

If you ever wanted to learn how to edit a film, watch this film. The 33 year old Griffith uses parallel action (as in what you see in 'Return of the Jedi', 'The Phantom Menace', 'Marnie', etc) as a form of cinematic narrative.
