D.W. Griffith and the King of Comedy
28 November 2003 | by (London, England) – See all my reviews

It was in these 1908 films that Griffith discovered the talent of Mack Sennett as a humorous actor and the potential to be the king of comedy. By using Sennett he was displaying range between the historical drama and comedy.
