An Odd Early Film...But Also Quite Interesting.
13 January 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In this experimental short film, we see a man doing a little boxing with a kangaroo. And while this is a rather odd early film, it is also quite an interesting experimental film. Of course, being an experimental film, this thing is not very long. In fact, it is only about one minute long, but although it is only one minute, it is part of film history, as it is one of the earliest things ever captured on film.

It is really something seeing a lot of these early experimental films, as they are very rarely seen. It is simply amazing seeing a lot of the early history of film, because it shows how film steadily grew over the years, they began to get feature length, and eventually they began to have sound. This experimental film is number 0000018 on this website, and it isn't really surprising that it is one of the first titles on this site, because it is such an old piece of film.

All in all, I can't really say much about this, considering that it is an experimental film and not a feature-length film, but nevertheless, I still find it to be a very interesting piece of film history, as it is one of the very early experimental films. Anyway, while I can't call this a masterpiece, I can say that it is very interesting to watch if you are really into those early experimental films, and hey, I'm into those early experimental films, and so I liked this because of that.
