- In the year 1550, Sir George Vernon agrees to have his young daughter Dorothy betrothed to John Manners, the son of the Earl of Rutland. But when the two children have grown older, rumors of John's wild behavior in France provoke Sir George to call off the engagement, and to pledge his daughter instead to her cousin Malcolm. Rutland now claims the forfeit from Sir George, and meanwhile, John has befriended Mary Stuart, the sworn enemy of Elizabeth, who is now Queen of England.

Political boss Pete Jones and local physician Dr. Small, to divert suspicion from themselves, accuse war veteran John Pearson of looting the house of toll-taker Dutchy Snyder. Hannah's brother Shocky and Ralph save Pearson from being lynched by a mob. Then Ralph is accused of the crime because he was seen in the vicinity of Snyder's house the night of the robbery. In the ensuing trial, Ralph successfully defends himself, while Bud Means exposes Pete Jones and Dr. Small as leaders of a gang of robbers. Ralph and Hannah marry after she is released from her bondage at the Means home.
- A crippled World War I veteran retracts to a small cottage in the countryside to escape from his nosy family and to hide from the outside world. There he meets a plain but also a very kind young woman. She reveals to him that the house he is staying in is in fact a very old honeymoon cottage. Spirits of newlyweds from the past, who are still swirling through the cottage, soon cast a love spell upon them.
- About to be married to a wealthy South African mine owner whom she does not love, Lady Andrea Pellor rebels after she gets her bridal gown on, and seeing an airplane of the beach begs the aviator to take her away. He consents and takes her to his home in the jungle, where she is forced to stay, as the henchmen of his enemy the River Pirate have splintered the propeller and it takes weeks to send for a new one. The hero is a disappointed, disillusioned man seeking to forget and is only known as White Man. He respects her but treats he with a touch of brutality. Lady Andrea contracts jungle fever and her nurses her back to health, and they love each other but her training makes her hide it. The River Pirate pays them a visit and after a fight kidnaps Lady Andrea. White Man goes in his airplane, crashes through the roof of the house and rescues her. He then takes her back to civilization. He follows and turns out to be her brother's war buddy. Finally she confesses her love as he is about to return to the jungle. - Moving Picture World, November 22, 1925.
- The White Moth is a 1924 silent film drama produced and directed by Maurice Tourneur and distributed by First National Pictures. Barbara La Marr was the female lead supported by young Ben Lyon. This film survives at the Library of Congress, Museum of Modern Art and Gosfilmofond Moscow.
- A pickpocket falls in love with a newspaperman. When he is sent off to war, she disguises herself as a boy, joins a gang and sets out to save him.
- Peter Blood, a young Irish physician, treats a rebel soldier wounded in battle, and he is arrested, tried for treason and sent into slavery to Barbados. He and his friend Jeremy are bought by the vicious Col. Bishop, who purchases them for his niece Arabella. Blood rallies the other slaves to rebel against their slavery; they escape and take over a Spanish galleon. Blood and his crew become pirates and the scourge of the Caribbean. England, at war with France and losing, offers him a commission in the Royal Navy if he will fight for them. Blood, who has no love for the French but even less for the English, has to decide whether it's better for he and his men to fight with the English or against them.
