But because he does not get the permission from Rasamaneeswarar, by violating the conditions and practices, he tries to know the Siddha secrets. What happened to him is on one side. On the other side, one of the villagers Ramanna, who tried to violate the practices, is in jail, following a capital punishment meted out to him in a murder case. His wife believes that Kaakkai Siddhar can save her husband. Kakkai Siddhar is endowed with Ashtama Siddhi. Especially, he is an expert in transporting himself from one body to another. Did he help Ramanna, is another side. On the whole, the secret and adventures of Siddhars in different moulds is what is Siva Ragasiyam.
- Shiva (Sudheer Babu) is a carefree young man who works in a courier company as a delivery boy. During a train journey, he comes across Shruti (Regina), who works as a radio jockey. Shiva instantly falls for Shruti and he starts trying to impress her. Shruti reluctantly starts reciprocating his love over time. But just as Shruti is about to express her love, Siva breaks her heart with his careless nature and uncultured ways. A love-hate relationship begins as the story moves back and forth between love failure and success. Jealousy, possessiveness and anger rear their ugly heads. Towards the end, the movie takes an unexpected twist. Siva and Shruti are forced to take a stand over their future. What they will do forms the story.

Watch how Kartikeya fights with a monster to free the villagers and earn the name, 'Murugan'. Lastly, the grandmother narrates the story of the famous fight between Lord Shiva and Brahma in the course of the creation of mankind which ends up with Shiva cutting off Brahma's fifth head.
