- Host Geoff Wawro sets his sights on the new movie Rendition which tells the story of an Egyptian terrorism suspect that "disappears" on a flight from Africa to Washington DC. His American wife (Reese Witherspoon) and a CIA analyst (Jake Gyllenhall) find themselves caught in a struggle to secure his release from a secret detention facility somewhere outside the US. We will examine the history and provide context for the movie including the origins of rendition, the changing role of the CIA, and the reality of interrogation techniques.
