As Philip delivers his speech, a few members of the news crew attempt to open the door, causing him to panic. He issues a threat of detonation to deter them and halt any further efforts. As all this is unfolding police detective David, aged 30, arrives, swiftly comprehending the situation, in an attempt to terminate Philips master plan, David tries to take the rains and communicate with Philip, being immediately shut down. As Philip concludes his speech, he taunts Detective David, brandishing the detonator. In response, David readies his firearm, his finger tight on the trigger. A gunshot is heard, plunging the scene into darkness. As we fade back into the scene, we see Philips lifeless body laying across the couch. The police detective runs in, revealing that there is no bomb, it was all a lie to begin with.
