- 20142h 23mUnrated7.6 (63)Video"From The Vault" is a series of live concerts from The Rolling Stones archive which are getting their first official release. "Hampton Coliseum - Live In 1981" is the first title in this series. The Rolling Stones American Tour in 1981 was the most successful tour of that year taking a then record $50 million dollars in ticket sales. The tour was in support of the critically and commercially successful "Tattoo You" album. There were fifty dates on the tour which ran from Philadelphia at the end of September through to Hampton, Virginia on the 18th and 19th of December. The show on December 18th, which was also Keith Richards' birthday, was the first ever music concert to be broadcast on television as a pay-per-view event. The footage has now been carefully restored and the sound has been newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain for this first official release of the show.

- 20121h 37mNot Rated8.4 (106)VideoThe Rolling Stones join Muddy Waters' band on stage in 1981, at the Checkerboard Lounge in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood. Muddy, whose health was declining, dying 1 ½ years later, is sitting down, playing a rather desultory set when the Rolling Stones finally lurch into the club. This seems to fire up Muddy who plays standing up the rest of the show, but needs to urge the Stones, who idolized Muddy, to join him. One by one they do. Muddy beseeches Mick Jagger, who seems the drunkest of the Stones, coming up last to sing with Muddy on several tunes. Guitarist Buddy Guy, who was an owner of the club, joins the group, along with harpist Junior Wells and a fiery Lefty Dizz. The Stones were playing in Rosemont, Illinois on the Tattoo You tour, and this was their night off. The film of the set appeared immediately on bootlegs, but was not issued on DVD until 2012.
- The most successful band to emerge from the Canadian rock explosion of the early 1970s, Rush would go on to become one of that nation's biggest entertainment exports. A trio of musical polymaths who cut a fiercely independent, sometimes controversial path through various musical styles to forge a distinctive, evolving sound that was incomparable to that of any of their contemporaries, this hugely influential group have flourished across a forty-plus year career. This film traces the history of Rush from the bar rooms of Toronto in the late 1960s to the world's largest arenas in the late 70s and early 1980s, by which time they were amongst the biggest bands on the planet. Through a stunning combination of rare and classic footage, the testimony of friends, colleagues and those who worked with the group across the years, plus exclusive and archive interviews and a host of other features, this programme makes the very unique history of Rush come alive in a manner previously undocumented.

A naturally shy man, it was not until the end of the decade that he began to play live on a regular basis. In 1981, by now a confident stage performer, he embarked on his European Adventure Tour, which took in the Montreux Festival in July, where he performed in front of an enthusiastic sold out audience.
- While this film may look rough and raw to 21st Century eyes, it is also the best representation of Iggy live during an otherwise pitifully undocumented era of his career. Fronting a crack band featuring Blondie drummer Clem Burke and future David Bowie guitarist Carlos Alomar, Pop is as unpredictable and dominant as ever (no small feat since he is sporting a mini skirt, garters and stockings for most of the show). Filmed on November 25 1981 near the end of their tour supporting his 1981 album Party, Iggy and co. are raw and ready for business. Iggy Pop Live 1981 provides a snapshot of a hungry artist at the top of his game in front of an adoring crowd.

- Bob Dylan's creative genius reached a crescendo as he hit the road with a rag-tag band of folk troubadours in the 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue. Appearing unannounced in small venues, the Revue culminated in "The Night of the Hurricane" benefit at Madison Square Garden for wrongly-convicted boxer Rubin "Hurricane" Carter. In his first interview in 30 years, "The Hurricane" tells all. Folk legend Ramblin' Jack Elliott, violinist Scarlet Rivera, bassist Rob Stoner, and Ms. Jacques Levy reveal the inside story of the Desire album, Joey Gallo, the Rolling Thunder Revue and the maligned tour film, Renaldo and Clara. Following his reinvention as "The Entertainer" in 1978, Bob Dylan fell into the Arms of the Lord through the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church. Dylan made three Gospel albums, winning a Grammy for "Gotta Serve Somebody." However, his radical new direction alienated fans and enraged critics as he preached evangelical messages from the Book of Revelation. In his first-ever interview, Dylan's Bible class teacher, Pastor Bill Dwyer, describes Dylan's born-again transformation. Legendary Slow Train Coming producer Jerry Wexler, background singer Regina McCrary, keyboardist Spooner Oldham, songwriter Al Kasha, San Francisco Chronicle rock reporter Joel Selvin, AJ Weberman and others tell the tale of Bob Dylan's Gospel Years. Director & Producer Joel Gilbert (Bob Dylan 1966 World Tour-The Home Movies, 2003 and Bob Dylan World Tours 1966-1974-Through the Camera of Barry Feinstein, 2005) weaves the story of this monumental period of Dylan's life and music through revealing insider portraits, exclusive photos, live concert video and TV footage from 1975-1981, with visits to Rundown Studios, the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, the Vineyard Church, and the Fox Warfield Theatre.
