- Hunting down the murderer of their families in an anarchic Berlin of the near future, the outlaws Tan and Javid find themselves trapped in the wicked fairytale of a mysterious screenplay that entangles them in a vicious circle of revenge - apparently all written by a clueless dentist.
- When Finn breaks up with Bianca to focus on his acting career, she is heartbroken, but agrees to remain friends rather than lose him entirely. Although Bianca enjoys being a primary school teacher, she undervalues her own abilities as much as she overvalues Finn's talent. So it's hardly surprising that she lacks the confidence to sit for the portrait that her bohemian mother has commissioned from Archer Acton, an up-and-coming painter. As Archer begins work, Bianca's glamorous, older sister, Sheena returns from Kyoto where she has been working as a geisha. To top it all off, Finn hangs around like a bad smell, haunting Bianca and pestering Sheena to help him land the leading role in an Indie vampire movie. A foolish flirtation with the Director gets Finn thrown off the picture by the jealous Producer. His dreams in tatters, Finn turns to Bianca for comfort, but by this time Archer's portrait has changed Bianca's perception of herself.
