- This is a documentary recounting the details of the making of our animated short film "The Way to Get Money is to Ask for It" using clay figures, a regular-8 mm movie camera, and homemade sets. It is hosted by the film makers John Glassco and Randy Parada and is a nostalgic look back (46 years!) at the days where nothing was digital. Film was sent to the lab to be developed and the film makers had to be patient in waiting to see the results of their daily work. Editing was done by literally cutting film clips and doing real film splices and gluing them together. Ah, yes, those were the days..

In the end, Eli has to decide what to do about his current situation, the golden fish, and his little brother's want for pop-tarts that results in the bonding of the two brothers and a new outlook on life for Eli.
